Mirin Seasoning is a perfect marinade or glaze for all sorts of seafood and meat dishes. Mirin is a type of Japanese sweet rice wine with a mildly thick consistency. Complements saltier flavours such as soy sauce or tamari. It is made from rice, vinegar, corn syrup and various spices and has all the flavour and uses of mirin rice wine, but with a much lower alcohol content. This seasoning is ideal for people who enjoy the flavour of mirin but do not want the extra alcohol.
