Ponzu is a traditional Japanese citrus sauce, commonly flavoured with citrus, in this case the tangy floral notes of yuzu. Its rich and complex flavour is also an excellent base to a dressing and can be pepped up with a little chilli, mirin, sesame or soy sauce to serve with seaweed, noodles or shrimp. Fabulous dipping sauce for sashimi tuna, shabu shabu wagyu or grilled meats.
